I hope that the legislature of the Commonwealth realizes how repulsive and antiquated the 1913 law is. It is mired in the days in which mixed racial couples could not wed in many states. The law is a relic and should be abandoned. Why should Massachusetts worry about what other states are doing?

I certainly agree...I would also add that given all the economic advantages to California...being touted in the press it would seem ripe for the ax....This law is more than a relic...it is an abomination.
