Congress should repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy because the presence of gays in the military is unlikely to undermine the ability to fight and win, according to a new study released by a California-based research center.

    Herein is the fodder for the McCain camp. They cannot stand to see news like this. The British, Canadian, and Israeli armed forces have allowed gays to serve openly for some time now. However, they are not experiencing problems with unit cohesion because some troops are openly gay. In fact, in most cases, the men simply do not care as long as they know they will protect one another in time of need.
