A lawyer who was ordered to pay nearly $90,000 in costs wants the Wisconsin Supreme Court to rehear the case but without Justice Louis Butler.

Although the lawyer is just doing what good attorneys do best, the fight in this case is over. The Justices ruled against the loud-mouthed reverend who had no idea his own words could be used against him. If he wanted to kill gay people and talk about it in public, he better be prepared to accept the consequences.

    One cannot defame a person with a tape of his own speech. If he is defamed by such a thing, he has done it to himself. There can be no merit in suing someone else for what one has said, therefore "frivolous".
