Seems the good reverend reaped what he has sown. One never strikes another human in anger as he has done. The charges will likely be dropped, but he should learn his lesson. As for his free speech rights, I am an avid supporter of them, and he has a right to say whatever he pleases. He crosses the line when he infringes on other people's rights. It seems he clearly did.

  I think the gay community should hold a peaceful protest march around this guy's church every Sunday for a month with signs denouncing this preacher and he's followers for spreading hate. If this preacher thinks he is going to walk through the Pearly Gates while doing what his doing then he's got a big surprise coming his way.

Hmmmm. This one seems a bit tricky. The "assault" seems to have occurred inadvertently...or could be construed as such.
The guy paid his money and was then asked to leave...on what grounds? Disruption?
Of course I'm NOT in favor of the reverend and his so-called message, but....

  I understand your point. To be fair, the article does say that the reverend was arrested on "suspicion" of battery. It does not say he actually did anything, though the video evidence may be all that is necessary. I suspect that the fine folks at Pride in Wichita will settle this one out of court.
