    No doubt that many gay couples are wondering if now is indeed the time. Some are thinking, this window of opportunity could close on us in November if all goes poorly at the polls. Others are saying that they do not want to be in limbo with their nuptials. Still others are uncertain because this is all new, and they had never had the chance to decide before. Now that they can, it will take some time to decide if marriage is the right next step. Good luck to all my gay and lesbian counterparts in California!

      Unfortunately gay couples are at the mercy of politicians even more than the rest of the population. What to do?
