Gay & Lesbian – The California Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Prop 22, the voter approved initiative used to block same-sex marriage is unconstitutional. The court also said that California's domestic partnership law is not a good enough substitute for marriage.

California has made history today. Finally the people of California are truly equal. Gays and lesbians can now finally wed after so much to do. None of the issues raised were federal issues; hence, this should not be appealed to the US Supreme Court. Kudos, California!
