Statue to Honor Slain Gay Politician »

The statue to Harvey Milk will be unveiled at San Francisco City Hall on May 22 - on what would have been Milk's 78th birthday.

Harvey Milk will remain an inspirational leader for generations to come. As the first out and proud politician in the United States, he broke numerous barriers and proclaimed that it is healthy and acceptable to be gay and proud of it. If he had been alive, I think he would have liked the statue.

God Bless Harvey Milk's soul.
I remember the first speech of his that I heard on the radio. I cried like a little baby to hear those words "come out" and know that it was OK.
I used to listen to a radio show in Houston that broadcast late Saturday night. On the anniversary of his death many years ago, they held a vigil at city hall. They had a young man speak who had called the radio show and said that he was going to kill himself until he had heard that show.
He read Harvey's most famous speech and I cried again just as I had the first time.
What a strong and beautiful man he really was.

A Statue to Honor Slain HoMosexual Politician?
Did Havery Really do anything besides being HoMosexual?
Did Harvey condone the HoMosexual parades in San Fran which are really like freak shows at a Cheap Carnival?
HoMosexual's are better than this.... Ex Governor of New Jersey McGreevy is a HoMosexual with a wife, Children, and
a HoMosexual lover. Lets hope he can get custody of his children and he can Marry his HoMosexual long time Lover.
Then, he can have a real family.
HoMosexual McGreevy is an ex Governor, he should have a statue in Honor for being HoMosexual and Governor of new Jersey.
