Virginia Elects First Gay African American

Gay & Lesbian – Lawrence Webb has become the first gay African American elected to office in Virginia. Webb won a seat this week on the Falls Church City Council in his first run for political office. Webb is not stranger to politics, though. He has worked for a number of years get Democrats elected and has been an active community leader.

Incredible. In a state which is ardently conservative as Virginia, I am amazed that they elected someone who does not fit the white, Protestant, and hetero profile. Kudos to VA.

Virginia Elects First HoMosexual African American

If Mr. Lawrence Webb is quilified for this position he deserves being elected. Mr. Webb may well be a Consertive and may Not want to be noted for being HoMosexual.

For HoMosexuals to rejoice for his earned success because they think he is a HoMosexual is a disgrace....
