Late yesterday, the groups seeking to overturn Oregon 's equality laws filed another initiative petition to repeal the domestic partnership law. Initiative Petition 146 contains small, but possibly critical differences from its predecessor, IP 144.

Really? These people have nothing better to do? The economy is in shambles, we are in a war that will never end, corruption is raging out of control in government, and the low dollar has made us into Mexico for Europeans, and THIS is what these people waste their time on? Submitting this a third time to try and deny rights to American citizens.

Yes, the fine folks of Oregon have shown once again that it is perfectly acceptable in this nation to take away the rights of gays and lesbians. It is perfectly acceptable to treat us like second class citizens. It is fine to humiliate and belittle us and our relationships. Yes, our nation is facing skyrocketing oil prices, war in two countries, drugs, a collapsing housing market, a credit crunch worse than any other time in economic history, and these mooks feel they have no other recourse than to blame gay couples WHO CANNOT MARRY!! Instead what little scraps they have are domestic partnerships which are wimpy if they are even worth bothering.
Fight the good fight people! Defend your rights and stand up for yourselves, because the reich wing wants us dead and gone!
