Despite much of the good news in the nation today regarding the acceptance of gays and lesbians, states like Florida not only ban gay marriage, but prevent gays from being adoptive parents. Florida does not think gays are bad enough to be custodial foster parents, but they cannot adopt. I fail to see the logic.

If she is so concerned with the welfare fo the oer 3,000 children currently languishing in the 'system'...perhaps Sen. Storms could find 3,000 god fearing christian straight people to adopt them!!!???

But, no she would rather these kids suffer without the safety and permanence a loving family can bring.....

I have to believe Christ would be ashamed!
