The premise of this article is flawed from the very onset. One cannot support the Republican party and stand in favor of gay civil rights. The two are diametrically opposed to one another. We need leadership that will support all Americans, not just the self-ordained right wing religious fanatics who would do in their gay neighbors and family members if they could. Ron Paul is not a champion of gay and lesbian rights, and can be trusted no better than any of the other Republican candidates. Hence, I would have to vote against him. Furthermore, I have to sink the article.
